Description

During the Lectellous, derived agamids known as the Redittiacertans (Shown here) held much of the megafaunal niches. Here, we see the largest member of the group: The Belleck. They are 15 feet tall (Seen beside a Prateritherium for scale), with thick legs to support its weight of 9 tons. Their bones are much more light, with air sacs. They possess a pouch upon their necks, which can be inflated for display. Their tusks are largely subdued, but are much longer in the young, shrinking as they grow older, it is only used for shredding pieces of plant matter in adults.
They are found near water sources, and are normally found in areas with a good amount of vegetation. They feed off of the middle and tops of trees, constantly on the move searching for vegetation. They live solitary lives, but can get together in well vegetated areas. They breed during the wet season, with males using it to attract females, with males using polygenous means of reproduction. They lay around 40 eggs, in a small hole. The young are much more quicker than the adults, with a long tail, and thinner legs, used to easier escape predators. They even have a more varied diet, which consists of shrubs, fruit, even small mammals on occasion. As they grow older, they lose these traits, as they have fewer threats as adults, hence why those that do make it into adulthood can live for over 60 years.

Just an after thought of the plains of Paritumal.

Great idea! What are they descended from?
